The Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort, which has already hosted several major poker championship, has been selected by the World Poker Tour as its only Canadian side for a fall series.
Besides attracting hundreds of world-class poker players, the tour is also a major coup for the casino as the games will be televised on the Travel Channel, reaching more than 147 markets in both North America and Europe. Casino officials hope the coverage will translate to more visitors staying either at its 368-room hotel or elsewhere in Niagara Falls.
