WPTE to attend Mipcom in France
The World Poker Tour Enterprise (WPTE), in an effort to spread the worldwide television poker phenomena, will be attending the global television trade event Mipcom in Cannes, France, from October 9th to October 13th of this year.
WPTE is a firm specializing in the world of poker entertainment and the idea is to promote and build new international partnerships via new sponsorships, joint ventures, plus the opportunity of licensing and airing new programs in 2007. The professional Poker Tour, airing presently on Travel Channel, will also be promoted with the presentation of its Premiere Season. This is an opportunity to promote Poker Internationally to a higher level; WPTE programs can currently be viewed in 154 countries, while the World Poker Tour continues to grow by appearing in a wider range of international televised tournaments which are produced locally.
The presence of the game, both on television and on the internet, is making more of an impact on everybodys lives. So why is Poker such a popular game? It might be a good idea to ask Doyle Brunson, the man behind the game and online poker site Doyles Room. Play poker against Doyle himself, his son Todd and the mad genius Mike Caro at Doylespokerroom.com -- rapidly growing in popularity.
