Former BAYWATCH star PAM ANDERSON is so addicted to poker she is launching her own website so she can play with fans online. The star planned to launch PamelaPoker.com on Thursday (20JUL06) in Los Angeles and then immediately fly to France to make preparations for her wedding to KID ROCK on 29 July (06).

According to a source, "It's a beginner's site for poker. All levels are invited. No maximum, no minimum." Anderson's poker mentor, DOYLE BRUNSON, adds, "Pamela's going to break a lot of hearts at the poker table. It will make her a force to be reckoned with".

A bill to ban Internet gambling is facing some opposition in the U.S. Senate and will not come up for a vote before the chamber takes its August recess, an aide to the U.S. Senate majority leader said on Thursday.
The proposed bill for anti-online gaming (bill H.R. 4411 conveniently leaves out horse racing, and lotteries-so it would be okay to gamble online on horse racing - what an insane bill! The US Senate "luckily" has better things to do than try to block grown-up people from going online to make a wager on the Super Bowl or play online poker after hard days work".
Poker player wins $17,243 in Las Vegas tourney
Texas Holdem poker enthusiast Tom Dykema has learned he can play with the big dogs and come out in the money, Dykema, a Park Township resident, finished 25th out of 1,579 players in a no-limit, World Series of Poker Tournament this past weekend in Las Vegas.

While he didn't win the top prize of $660,948, his two days of poker and top-25 finish earned him a $17,243 payday. "I outlasted about 20 top professional players and found out I could play with them and win," said Dykema, 44. The Holland businessman and avid card player has been building up to the big game with increasing success winning lesser stake tournaments at Indiana riverboat casinos.
